Dexcom has prepared a series of educational books and activity sheets to help parents to talk with their children about diabetes.

The Adventures of Dexton is a story written in diary format from the perspective of a nine-year-old boy with type 1 diabetes. In the diary, Dexton describes his feelings about diagnosis, what he is learning about blood sugar, carbohydrates, going low, exercise and other experiences as he is learning to adjust to living with diabetes.
