This program provides a trial of the Dexcom G7 15 Day CGM for adult patients or Dexcom G7 CGM for pediatric patients discharged from the hospital who have been identified as appropriate candidates. Dexcom G7 15 Day and G7 CGM enables patients to see their glucose in real time, how fast their levels are changing, and the impact of food and activity.

The Dexcom G7 15 Day and Dexcom G7 hospital discharge program provides everything patients need to get started with a free trial§ so they can quickly be on their way to easier diabetes management.
The trial kit includes:

Simple sensor insertion with the push of a button - All-in-one sensor
Measures glucose levels through a thin filament that sits just beneath the skin
Patients need a compatible smartphone to participate in the trial program.
Patients who want to continue on Dexcom G7 15 Day (adult patients) or G7 (pediatric patients) will need a prescription. To ensure there is no lapse in use, it is recommended that a prescription be provided at discharge with the instruction to obtain their first Dexcom CGM System at the hospital pharmacy.
