How can users reduce nighttime lows with earlier alerts?

Patients should speak with their healthcare provider about setting these three alerts, so they have more time to prevent their glucose from dropping too low:

  • Falling Fast: Patients can turn on this alert to let them know when their glucose is rapidly decreasing

  • Urgent Low Soon: The Urgent Low Soon alert can warn users in advance (within 20 minutes) of a severe hypoglycemic event (55 mg/dL), which helps give them time to take appropriate action before an event occurs. Patients must have this alert turned on

  • Low Alert: Patients should consider raising the level of their Low Alert settings to alert them before their levels go too low
