I am starting a patient on Dexcom G7, and Iíd like to start them on Omnipod 5 System, too. What is the process for getting an Omnipod 5?

OmnipodÆ 5 with Dexcom G7 is now available. The new Pods are compatible with both Dexcom G6 and G7 and will use the same prescription code as the previous Omnipod 5 Pods. This means your patients won't need a new prescription and users will have similar insurance coverage and access to what they have with Omnipod 5 today.

The Omnipod 5 is indicated for the management of type 1 diabetes mellitus in persons 2 years of age and older, and type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults (18+).
